NCCP took 35 people on a lovely free trip to the Botanic Gardens on Monday 30th March, and what a great day it was!
There was plenty for the children to enjoy, including a fun adventure trail around the gardens — with a tasty Easter egg reward waiting at the end for those who completed it. Along the way, there were also creative craft activities to get stuck into.
Adults were treated to a guided tour by an expert volunteer, who shared fascinating insights into the history of the gardens, the wide variety of plants, and the important work that continues there today.
As the weather was squally ,we retreated to the glasshouses to view the exotic plants including the Jade vines and to play with the guppy fish
Missed out this time? Don’t worry — another trip is planned for 11th April! Be sure to book your place .
