    Join us for a FREE 6-week gardening and cooking course, where families can learn how to grow and prepare simple, healthy foods right from their garden, balcony, or window box! ????????‍????‍????‍????

    This course is perfect for parents with preschoolers (ages 2-5), but older and younger siblings are welcome too! ????

    Grow It, Cook It, Share It! is the free family learning course where adults and children learn together.

    • Six week course
    • Save money, eat healthily and get more exercise
    • Learn how to grow your own fruit and veg at home
    • For pre-school children and their families

    This family growing and cooking course teaches families about fruit and vegetables that can easily be grown and eaten at home (whether in a garden, balcony or window box) through supervised gardening and simple cooking sessions.It’s a sociable course, as you take part in activities as a family unit and with other families, and gives you the chance to add more fresh vegetables and fruit to your diet. Plus you get the mental and physical wellbeing benefits of being active outdoors, getting to grips with nature.

    Tuesday 4th June- Tuesday 9th July

    10am-12pm.

    By booking your place, you are booking all 6 sessions

    We’re super excited to announce that we’ll be running a free pizza workshop on Thursday, October 10th, from 4 PM to 5.30 PM! ???? This awesome event was requested by our Lego club kids who had this brilliant idea! ???? A local dad, who happens to be an amazing Italian chef, will be leading the workshop.
    We would be learning the fun art of rolling dough and making pizza with all healthy ingredients.

    Do you have a broken toaster, wobbly chair, or torn jacket? Instead of tossing it, bring it to our Repair Café! Let’s reduce waste together by fixing items that need a little love.

    Hello. We’re thrilled to invite you to our next gardening club on Saturday, November 16th, from 10am-11.30am and we can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces! ????

    We’ll be tackling some weeding and planting bulbs to get ready for a beautiful spring. Let’s meet at the front of the Campkin Community Centre at 10am, and we’ll kick things off by sprucing up the beds in front of Tesco Express for about 30 minutes. After that, we’ll head over to the Campkin Community Centre beds to continue our gardening adventure for an hour.

    We’ve got some fun activities lined up, including rock painting and dry flower pressing. Plus, there’ll be drinks and delicious refreshments to keep us energized! Afterwards, enjoy some yummy cakes and more rock painting fun!

    As we look ahead to the upcoming festive season, NCCP would like to invite you to mark your calendars for our Christmas Lights Switch On Event at Arbury Court.

    This beloved annual event is a wonderful way to usher in the Christmas spirit within our local community. We are delighted to announce that the festive illuminations will be turned on at Arbury Court on Wednesday, 11th December 2024, by our esteemed Mayor Cllr Baiju Thittala.
    The afternoon will be filled with joyful festive music, including carols from local schools and churches along with warm hot chocolate and mince pies for everyone to enjoy. We warmly encourage you to come and join the festivities starting at 3:30 pm.

    Further details about the event will be shared in the coming month. We look forward to celebrating together ????!
